I have the Akribos XXIV. I have not had any problems with it until today...stopped ticking. I wound it about fifty times...nothing...so I shook it and started running -- alright! Well not so fast...

When I pulled the crown to set the time, both hands moved and it seemed the tension between the minute and hours hand had lost their strength. I could not change one without affecting the other...and when I did, I could not line up the hours...so I wanted it to be 7 o clock. The hand is on the 12 but the hour was between 7 and 8. Nothing I did would change it -- the hands were loose. I shook my hand and now the hands spin free. I got this new off of overstock.com but I have no way of getting ahold of anyone to have a repair. I paid 60-70. I may just get a different watch. I love it but to pay more for a small repair, I am guessing is plain retarded...what can I expect in quality for a 60 watch ?

any repair info is appreciated.

This pen is a copy of a pen branded 'Wecle Japan'. It was produced second half of the 80s and available in 6 finishes : chrome, gold, crackled, metal blue. Next to the fountain pen the was also a fountain pencil and a ballpoint pen. In Europe the fountain pen could be purchased at that time for about €80. The original did not have a visible, black plastic pen holder.
