The first version of the faceted Vanishing Point was introduced in 1981 under the Pilot brand name. The first Namiki Vanishing Point appeared some time in 1994 and was discontinued in 1999. This beautiful burgundy example has only a few small surface scratches which can only be seen when you’re really looking for them. This version of the VP is lighter and slimmer than the newer, rounded Vanishing Point that most of us are familiar with today. The pen comes with the proper CON-20 squeeze type converter and your choice of one of the following nibs: fine, medium, or medium stub.
