The Sheaffer Triumph was first released in 1942 and was the first model to incorporate Sheaffer’s new conical nib design. This Carmine Striated model is just one of 5 colors the Triumph was available in. The Vacuum-Fil system works very well and provides a full fill. The hardware is in very good condition, no tarnishing or brassing, although the cap band does have a couple small dings. The barrel clarity has ambered but is clear enough to see the ink level. The XF/F nib has been tuned to write smoothly and provide a consistent, slightly more wet than dry flow. $110 SOLD
