Unboxing: Sprint HTC Hero

Unboxing: Sprint HTC Hero

The HTC Hero is Sprint’s first Andriod device and my first experience with the Android OS. The Hero has a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, an accelerometer, and a light sensor. Add in your basics such as Wi-fi, Bluetooth, and GPS along with the steller integration with Google™ mobile services including Google Search™, Google Maps™, Gmail™, and YouTube™ and you’ve got a mobile device more than capable at competing with the best from Apple, Palm, and anything running Windows Mobile.

My full review will be posted in a few weeks after I’ve had ample time to use the device.
