A note about all the Parker 51’s: I’ve completely restored each one. This includes thoroughly cleaning the inside of the pen (collector, feed, nib, and barrel), replacing the diaphragms, polishing the barrel and hood, and making sure the blind cap matches up perfectly with the barrel so there are no exposed ridges. Each pen I sell is tested with ink to make sure it writes as smooth as possible. Each pen is guaranteed to write smoothly and operate perfectly. 1946 Q3 Black Parker 51 Vacumatic filler. Date code “T.6″ The nib writes a little on the wet side making it a fine/medium line width. The cap is in great condition, no dings or dents. The clip is in very good condition, no tarnishing or brassing, a little blue is missing from the diamond, and there a couple of small scratches on the top of the clip around the silver colored jewel. The two line imprint and the date code under the clutch ring are easily readable with the naked eye. $105 ON HOLD
Black Parker 51 Vacumatic filler. No date code. If you look closely on the barrel you can see a diamond imprint. This could have possibly been a converted desk pen. It doesn’t look or feel any different than the other 51’s I have. The fine nib is neither wet nor dry. The cap is great condition, no dings or dents. The clip is very good having only slight brassing on the top around the amber colored jewel on the back side. $90
1947 Q2 Cordovan Brown Parker 51 Vacumatic filler. Date code “.T.7″ The fine/medium nib writes a little on the dry side. The Jeweler’s Band cap is in great condition, no dings or dents. The nickel plated clip is in good condition with slight brassing around the silver colored jewel, the diamond has a solid blue fill. The two line imprint and the date code under the clutch ring are easily readable with the naked eye. $125 SOLD
Green Esterbrook J lever fill with a 2284 Broad Firm Stub Signature nib. I’ve restored this pen by replacing the sac and lightly polishing the body. The “jewels” are in good condition and it writes very smooth. $25 SOLD
