A customer from FPN contacted me about having the bold nib in his VP ground into a cursive italic. After discussing with him the details of how his pen would be used we came to the conclusion that a stub might be the most beneficial, and pleasureable nib to use under his conditions. I got some great line variation with this stub and softened the edges just enough to keep it from feeling scratchy when writing at full speed. I also increased the flow just a tad as the owner wished. Here’s a little writing sample:
